1. Opening of the Meeting
   • The meeting commenced at 11:30 AM with a prayer led by Smt. Jalaja Keshav Devadiga.
   • Shri Vishu Hiriadka, General Secretary, delivered the Welcome Note.
   • A one-minute silence was observed to honor the memory of departed community members.
   • Dignitaries present on stage included Shri Ramesh N. Devadiga, Shri Sudhakar Devadiga, Shri S.M. Chandra, and Smt. Rekha Suresh.
   (Note: Shri Chandrashekar and Shri Rajanikant K were unable to attend due to personal commitments.)
2. AGM Invitation Note
   • The General Secretary presented the AGM invitation note.
3. Financial Accounts Presentation
   • Shri S.M. Chandra presented the financial accounts for the years 2022–23 and 2023–24.
   • The accounts were unanimously approved by all members.
4. Discussion on Community Building Construction
   Key Resolutions:
   • Raising Funds:
   o Funds will be raised through donations and interest-free loans from members, which were unanimously approved.
   • Loan from Community Societies:
   o Additional funds may be secured from the Devadiga Community Society or Ekanateshwari Co-op/Trust at nominal interest rates.
   o Shri Ramachandra highlighted the importance of avoiding mortgaging the land/building and proposed raising funds with the executive committee’s agreement. This was approved unanimously.
   • Renting the Community Hall:
   o To manage liabilities, the hall will be rented with security deposits collected from tenants.
   o The executive committee was authorized to finalize rental terms without requiring further AGM approval.
   o One office room will be retained for DSB documents and meetings. Approved unanimously.
   • Request to Karnataka Hindulida Kalyana Ministry:
   o Necessary documents will be prepared and submitted. Approved unanimously.
   • These resolutions were supported by Shri H.S. Devadiga, Shri Raghu Sherigar, and Shri Ganesh Raju. and approved by all members.
5. BDA Land Lease Renewal Process
   • Shri H.S. Devadiga outlined two potential options for lease renewal:
6. Outright purchase of the land.
7. Upfront payment for a 30-year lease extension.
   • Members agreed to prepare for both scenarios and entrusted the executive committee to manage the process. Approved unanimously.
8. Partnership with Sparsh Foundation & Its Sister Companies
   • Sparsh Hospitals assured a 10–15% discount for Sangha members and their families.
   • The Sangha will facilitate approval and issue health cards.
9. Fundraising from Scholarship Beneficiaries
   • Shri Raghu Sherigar suggested seeking donations from past scholarship recipients to support the community building project. This was approved by the committee.
10. Member Speeches
    • Shri H.S. Devadiga, Shri Raghu Sherigar, and Shri Ganesh Raju commended the committee’s efforts and proposed organizing community activities such as sports events, excursions, and one-day trips to foster engagement. Shri Shridhar Devadiga agreed for the suggestions and work on people gathering events. And coordinate with Shri Tejas Sudhakar for sports events.
11. President’s Speech
    • Shri Ramesh N. Devadiga reflected on the Sangha’s achievements and challenges over the past two years.
    • He pledged full support to ensure the completion of projects such as the building construction, BDA lease renewal, and the building’s inauguration.
12. Formation of the New Committee
    • Shri Raghu Sherigar ( Founder Members and Advisor ) and Shri H.S. Devadiga (Advisor) proposed extending the current executive committee’s term by two years, recognizing their dedication and progress.
    • The proposal was unanimously approved with the following suggestions:
    o Retain existing office bearers and members.
    o Include new active members, with names to be finalized in the next monthly meeting.
    o Transition inactive members (due to personal commitments or relocations) to guest invitee roles.
13. Closing Remarks
    • The AGM concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Ganesh Devadiga Kirimanjeshwar.
    • The committee expressed appreciation for the contributions of the following members:
    o Shri Tejas Sudhakar for drafting and organizing the AGM report and ensuring excellent report printing.
    o Shri Ramachandra for overseeing seating arrangements, stage setup, and Shamiyana arrangements.
    o Shri Shivashankar and team for providing delicious food arrangements.
    o Shri Pavanesh Devadiga for managing the Sangha’s website/portal, ensuring updates on programs, fundraising initiatives, and AGM-related information.
    o Shri. Shridhar Devadiga coordinating for cultural programs and arranging people gathering event/ upcoming sports events.
    • Gratitude was extended to all community members, executive committee members, and volunteers for their active participation and support. The Sangha looks forward to continued cooperation for the development and prosperity of the Devadiga community in Bangalore.
