After retirement, he was practising as an advocate.

Narayana Rao sir Came to bengaluru in late 50,s….with yajnanarayana Maiya.. Founder of MTR hotel.. Worked with him… Then started his own hotel in kanakapur Then shifted to bengaluru.. Started two hotels in chamrajpet… Was a member of lion’s club in 80,s…was active in social organization s.. by helping poor and needy in slums around chamrajpet… Also a executive member of karnataka hotels and restaurant Association… President devadiga sangha Bengaluru

Shri Raghu Sherighar –PRESIDENT

Udupi Raghava Sherigar popularly known as Raghu Sherigar started his career in the year 1967 in a
construction company. Later he left his hometown Udupi In search of his fortune and landed in Panjim,
Goa. After working in Goa for about 5 years he came back to Udupi and joined an Apparel Manufacturing
Unit at Manipal as a store keeper. With his hard work and integrity he grew to the position of manager in a
span of two years. In the year 1981 he came to Bangalore to join a reputed Garment Industry M/s. Gokaldas
Exports ltd. Which was one of the leading exporters of Ready made garments in India. He worked there for
more than a decade as a General Manager ( Production).

In the year 1993 he started a Readymade Garments Manufacturing and Exports Unit with association and
guidance of Mr Shivanand Shetty from Mumbai. He served as a MANAGING DIRECTOR of M/s. MANIPAL
APPARELS PVT LTD.,

Born to Late Shri. Malinga Sherigar and Smt Seshi Sherigarthi on 16th July, 1952 and youngest among the
siblings – Late Muddu Devadiga, Shri. Sommappa Devadiga
