Sub: Medical Camp at Bhatkal
Further to my discussion with you, Where I had mentioned about Medical Camp to be held at
Murudeshwara on 27 th Oct 2013. I would like to present my views on the subject:
1) The said Medical Camp was on the pipe line and in the process of discussion since last one
year with KMC Hospital, Manipal.
2) Now, the KMC Hospital, Manipal has accepted their willingness to participate in the
Medical Camp Vide their letter bearing No: KH/Outreach Camp: 108/2013 dtd: 5/09/2013
3) The North Canara, which starts from Bhatkal. The population in this area, mainly of our
community is more in the places like Bengre, Murudeshwar and further. These people are
socially and economically poor and lack medical facility. The said Medical Camp will help
the economically downtrodden people of this area by bringing the Medical facility to their
doorstep.
4) The Medical Camp will conduct check-up and screening of health of the villagers mainly on
Cardiac, Eye and Diabetes Testing and the further treatment, if required will be provided in
their Hospital.
5) Ours is a poor community. The sangha’s should reach out to our people mainly in the field
of Education and Health by not only by organising programs by ourselves but also
associating in different campaigns along with like minded Sanghas/Associations/Agencies.
Now, the proposal will be presented in the Executive Committee Meeting to be held on 6 th Oct 2013
and I request your full support and recommendation on this unique Medical camp.
